1. I think I created ok composition for my photos. I think the left most photo is my best and the middle the worst.
2. I think I edited them well. All three required color correction due to my phone camera making weird adjustments. The cropping was good as it contained mostly the frame and framed subject. 3. If I shot this assignment again, I would try to find framing in nature like a natural archway or something like that, or maybe a fish in a pond. left: "Bhangra", middle: "Distracted Student", right: "Tug of War" Left: Students of Cal High Chalkaa dance team practice bhangra in a driveway.
Middle: Cal High student Diego uses his phone in class even though he's behind on assignments. Right: A man playing tug of war with his dog slowly loses his grip on her favorite toy.
Carr Clifton: I love the angle of the photo because it feels like you can see the river fading away in the distance. I also love the shadow cast on the back of the photo (I think by a cloud). The photo is very balanced and there is a sense of movement along the river. I'm not sure what the photo is of and where it is taken. Ansel Adams: El Capitan at sunrise. This photo was taken at Yosemite in California.
I love the unity of the photo created by the monochrome effect. Even though it is in black and white, you can see the sunrise by the bright spot on the side of El Capitan where the emphasis of the photo lies, an effect that is further enhanced by the center position of the light. |
